BrokeBoyz NFT Metaverse
In the rise of web3 gaming and NFT games, I joined SYFT LA as a full-time game designer for their virtual world inspired by the BrokeBoyz Animated series and the BrokeBoyz NFT collection.
As a designer, I had diverse responsibilities, including market research, world design, game economy, gameplay mechanics, game interactions, game balance, game systems, environment layout, level content, UI mockups, game sounds, game testing, quality assurance and motivation design.
With my project management skills, I oversaw the game development agile cycle, provided support in game production, and reported to the project director.
Objective
Create a dynamic and immersive virtual world that leverages blockchain technology and NFTs to offer players and collectors a multifaceted and rewarding experience.
This virtual world is designed for a vibrant and active community of players, collectors, and enthusiasts who collaborate, compete, and socialize within the metaverse.
Gameplay
In BrokeBoyz NFT Metaverse, gameplay is a fusion of creativity and diversity.
Players can bring their NFT characters into 2D/3D game avatars, adding an ownership touch to the experience.
BBZ World offers a variety of mini-games across different genres, catering to various player types, ensuring everyone finds their perfect match in this virtual realm.

NFT Upgrader 2.0
Collectors can enhance their characters using this feature, by refreshing their NFT metadata and converting them into captivating animated 2D/3D versions. Upgraded NFTs can be showcased in the OpenSea NFT Frame, significantly increasing their value and prestige.
Broke Gator
Endless-Run 2D platformer mini-game, where players play with their NFT gator pet to collect points, survive the danger, beat high scores and finish challenging achievements in the game.
Broke Towers
As a central component, BrokeTowers offers a 3D multiplayer experience, allowing players to interact with their BrokeBoyz NFT Characters in personalized villa units. Decorating their units with their collections extracted from their digital wallet to create unique virtual galleries.

BrokeAirball provides an adrenaline-inducing TPS/FPS multiplayer shooting game. Challenge guests to intense battles in their tower villas, elevating social gatherings with unforgettable gaming experiences.
Responsibilites
◈ Research blockchain structure and web3 gaming trends, ensuring a seamless integration of NFT functionalities within the metaverse.
◈ Conceptualize and design metaverse world components, considering their intersections to create a cohesive player experience.
◈ Support in-game economy design in collaboration with the project tokenomics lead.
◈ Manage the project's agile development cycle, enabling simultaneous progress on multiple components while ensuring efficient team coordination.
◈ Conduct game testing and document testing notes for improvements and bug fixes.
◈ Run feedback rounds with the collector's community through regular playtesting.
◈ Responsible for game design documentation including balancing sheets, game flowcharts and UI/UX mock-ups, providing clear guidance for development teams.
◈ Collaborate with the art team in making UI components, VFX, characters, environment and game probs.
◈ Collaborate with developers to iterate on gameplay mechanics, game systems, networking (Photon PUN), optimization and balancing.
◈ Support in-game production, ensuring efficient workflows, resource allocation, and adherence to timelines.
